Five research councils’ impact-boosting funding programmes are set to come under one umbrella
In July, UK Research and Innovation will launch one overarching scheme that will supersede institutional impact-boosting funding schemes from five separate research councils.
The scheme will combine the impact acceleration account (IAA) programmes of the Arts and Humanities Research Council, the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council, the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council, and the Science and Technology Facilities Council, along with the Medical Research Council’s Confidence in Concept programme.
