The AHRC pushes the green agenda forward with local projects led by young design researchers
- Don’t be deterred if you don’t feel your partnership is well established.
- Think about the legacy and opportunity beyond the scope of the project.
- Take part in as many of the surgeries and events offered by the AHRC as possible.
- Academic supervisors should not be the lead role in the project.
After a successful pilot round, the Arts and Humanities Research Council has launched a Design Exchange Partnerships call on designing the green transition. It aims to kick-start local partnerships involving early career researchers who can develop design solutions for specific challenges facing UK coastal and island communities.
