  • If working with partners, try to engage them as early as possible.
  • Specify trainings you will undertake and how the fellowship will help with your career development.
  • Accept that highlighting areas for development means you will showcase your areas of relative weakness.

Earlier this month, UK Research and Innovation announced that its Future Leaders Fellowships will open for at least two more rounds in 2024 and 2025, with deadlines each summer.
