Strength in diversity

Diversity “not just an issue of fairness” but “essential for research excellence”, ERC conference hears

The need for consideration of diversity in research environments, and research on diversity, is becoming ever more pressing. At a conference hosted by the European Research Council on 28 November, European Commission officials, university leaders and ERC grant holders discussed how to meet that challenge.

Attendees sought to address two topics: researching diversity, and diversity within frontier research itself.
