Short-term travel fellowships encourage that young life-sciences researchers to explore new avenues
The European molecular biology organisation Embo launched its New Venture Fellowships in early 2021 to support early career scientists in any field of life science research keen to dip their toe into a new field of research.
As such they support international lab visits of up to three months (90 days), contributing towards travel costs and subsistence of the fellow. The subsistence rate depends on the country being visited.
