Three tips for robust bid health from the organisers of the Innovate UK scheme
Innovate UK’s Icure programme is now in its 10th year. In that time it has become one of the UK’s leading multidisciplinary innovation programmes, helping researchers to acquire the skills and knowledge to move research insights and outputs towards commercialisation.
As Rosy Jones, head of Icure for the SetSquared Partnership, which helps deliver the programme, explained during a webinar in March, the programme can claim several successes. According to Innovate UK data, 216 companies have been created thanks to Icure, attracting a combined total of more than £260 million in external investment, and creating more than 650 jobs in the process.
