Now a deal is struck, what funding is available to UK applicants and European partners?
After the collective sigh of relief from UK scientists that negotiators had finally reached a deal on the UK joining the EU’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme, the attention of researchers and research offices can turn to what this means for them.
The UK officially joins the EU’s R&I club on 1 January 2024, meaning that British researchers and companies can receive funds directly from the European Commission for calls under the 2024 Horizon Europe work programme.
