Binge writing: can an app help?

Having a deadline to meet should not mean working 12-hour days, says Cristina Gallardo.

Binge writing is the art of getting the vast majority of a grant proposal done in a single sitting. It might be feasible for small grants, but it’s risky for a programme as complex as Horizon 2020.

A better solution could be as simple as downloading an app to manage your time. WunderList and AnyList, for example, can help you with to-do lists and can be shared with colleagues. Redmine and Toggl track the progress you achieve in each task, as well as in the project as a whole.
