Sign-off and submission

Grant proposals can fail for what are sometimes seem like relatively minor reasons: one of these is a failure to satisfy requirements for sign-off from your own institution.

Funders don’t receive the application when you click ‘submit’; they only get it when your institution’s relevant departments or officers have signed off on it. Give them plenty of time to do that to avoid unnecessary stress. Find out more about sign-off for various programmes here.

You might also find our Know How section on Managing your Project useful, you can click through to that here.
