Graduate prospects boosted

The number of UK students in employment or further study six months after graduation has risen for the fifth successive year.

Some 94 per cent of UK domiciled former undergraduates were in employment or further study six months after they graduated in the summer of 2016, according to figures released by the Higher Education Statistics Agency on 6 July.

There was a slight fall in the proportion moving into employment only, offset by a rise in the percentage going into further study.
