Consultation opens on reporting guidelines for harrassment and sexual misconduct

The Office for Students has launched a consultation on harassment and sexual misconduct in higher education, promising to take action if universities fall short.

On 9 January, the regulator published a set of expectations on how universities should deal with allegations of harassment and sexual assault. The aim is for a consistent approach across all universities so that students and staff are aware of the complaints process.
