Regulator launches strategy to engage students with its work
The Office for Students has promised to make sure students are more involved in the way it regulates universities, admitting that it “won’t be a good regulator” otherwise.
In a three-year strategy published on 13 February, the OfS set out how it would be “amplifying the voices of those who often go unheard” by trying to work more closely with students, in particular those from underrepresented groups such as disabled students, commuter students and mature learners.
