Consultation offers chance to back several scenarios for applications after exam results are received
Two options for a post-qualifications admissions system are on the table in the Office for Students’ admissions review.
The review, which was commissioned by former education secretary Damian Hinds and is backed by current education secretary Gavin Williamson, will look at issues including the rise in unconditional offers, the use of incentives to encourage students to accept places, and how predicted grades are used and whether they are accurate.
