England’s regulator threatens action if course quality suffers as a result of increased numbers
The chief executive of the Office for Students has warned universities against “sacrificing quality for inflated intakes” ahead of what could be a bumper year for UK student recruitment.
In a blog published on 17 March, Nicola Dandridge (pictured) urged universities to keep promises they make to students during this year’s admissions cycle and ensure that provision does not suffer as a result of increased student numbers.
