Mental health projects share £6m in funding

   

Office for Students announces cash for university-led schemes to boost mental health support for students

Eighteen projects at universities and colleges designed to support students’ mental health will be given a share of £6 million in funding, the Office for Students has said.

On 17 August, the regulator for England said projects include a scheme at the University of Bristol that will train staff on the needs of autistic students who access mental health services, and a project at the University of Bradford that will create an app to encourage South Asian students to take up mental health support.
