Industrial action is suspended.

An assessment boycott at some of the UK’s leading universities has been called off after the University and College Union and Universities UK made progress in talks aimed at settling a pensions row.

The industrial action, which began on 6 November, was put to an end on 20 November after both sides agreed to a series of talks between now and a final joint negotiating committee meeting scheduled for 15 January.
