Vice-chancellor breaks ranks to highlight ‘great frustration’ over strikes
A leading vice-chancellor has called on Universities UK to hasten the publication of a report on the pensions dispute as strike action continues at 60 universities.
Koen Lamberts, vice-chancellor of the University of Sheffield, and former chair of the Employers’ Pension Forum, wrote to UUK chief executive Alistair Jarvis, urging him to publish the second report from the Joint Expert Panel (JEP) as soon as possible—which Research Professional News understands is scheduled to appear before the end of the year.
