Universities UK has announced who has been elected to its governing body.
On 13 May, the vice-chancellors’ group confirmed eight new board appointments following a ballot, which closed on 1 May.
Paddy Nixon, vice-chancellor and president of Ulster University, will become UUK vice-president (England and Northern Ireland); while Julie Lydon, vice-chancellor of the University of South Wales, will serve a second term as vice-president (Wales) by virtue of her re-election as chair of Universities Wales. Both terms run until July 2021.
