Consultation on the Knowledge Exchange Concordat reveals worries over workload
There is “strong concern” among universities that the upcoming Knowledge Exchange Concordat could clash with deadlines for the Research Excellence Framework, increasing workloads for staff.
A Universities UK (UUK) consultation on the concordat, which would give universities principles of good practice in knowledge exchange, found that institutions are worried that a proposed autumn deadline for giving feedback on concordat plans would lead to a spike in workload as universities race to finish REF20201 submissions by the end of November.
