Greenwich improves conditions for outsourced staff

Workers will receive a pay rise and the same holiday entitlements as in-house staff

Outsourced workers at the University of Greenwich are to receive the same working benefits as their in-house colleagues.

As part of a project to agree a facilities management contract, Greenwich has agreed that workers who are not directly employed by the university will get the same holiday and sick pay as in-house staff and will receive the real London living wage of £10.75 an hour.
