The South African vice-chancellor will start in January 2021
Soas, University of London has revealed that Adam Habib will take over from Valerie Amos as director.
Habib, who has been vice-chancellor of the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa, since 2013, will join Soas in January next year. Soas’s current director Valerie Amos will leave in August this year to become master of University College at the University of Oxford.
