Union projects deficit of more than £77,000 amid strikes, but final bill could be higher
A Research Professional News analysis has revealed the rising cost of strike action for the University and College Union.
The union’s financial accounts for 2018-19 show a projected deficit for 2019-20 of £77,022, compared with a £2.2 million surplus two years previously in 2017-18 and a £2,014 surplus in 2018-19.
