Jane Harrington stressed need to work together for good mental health
Striking staff and senior managers must come together once industrial action has finished and “build as [a] community” to look after their mental health, according to University of Greenwich vice-chancellor Jane Harrington.
Speaking on University Mental Health Day, Harrington—who has been in her role for three months—told Research Professional News she was “very respectful” of the University and College Union picket line, and stressed the need to move forward once the strikes are over.
