MP’s university think-tank finally set to publish first report

Research Institute for Social Mobility has been paying its director for more than a year

A think-tank funded by the University of Bolton is set to publish its first research, more than a year after it began paying Conservative MP Andrea Jenkyns to serve as director.

Last year, Research Professional News reported that the university had been paying the Morley and Outwood MP £25,000 a year for eight hours of work a week as director of the think-tank since the start of July 2019.
