Habib sorry after using the word in meeting with students in discussion over racist language

The head of Soas, University of London, has written to staff and students at the institution to “apologise unreservedly” for using the N-word during a webinar.

During the meeting with students on 11 March, Adam Habib used the word in a discussion about his institution’s response to an alleged use of racist language by another staff member. The incident has led to calls for his resignation from some students.
