British Council says scheme will encourage student exchange and academic collaboration

The British Council has announced a UK-Greek “strategic partnership” that it says will support UK universities in establishing transnational education programmes with institutions in Greece.

The programme will facilitate “academic collaboration, including joint and dual degrees, distance learning, summer programmes and academic and student exchanges, along with other learning opportunities”, the British Council says. It adds that this is the first transnational education programme between a European Union country and the UK.
