Postgraduate institution appoints Cardiff University deputy vice-chancellor Karen Holford as leader
Cranfield University has appointed the noted engineering academic Karen Holford as its next vice-chancellor.
Holford, who is currently deputy vice-chancellor at Cardiff University, will lead the postgraduate university from 1 August. She takes over from Peter Gregson, who is retiring after working as vice-chancellor at Cranfield University since 2013.
