Essay mills are targeting anxious students, watchdog warns

  

QAA provides guidance on stopping essay-writing services from taking advantage of the coronavirus pandemic

Universities have been given fresh guidance on how to clamp down on essay mills, with the Quality Assurance Agency warning that students have been approached during the Covid-19 pandemic.

In updated guidance on combating the services, which charge students for written assignments, the quality watchdog says the coronavirus pandemic “has seen essay mills target students as they seek to take advantage of the uncertainty and anxiety that might arise as a consequence”.
