Quality body records significant fall in institutions over eight-year period
Around half of the alternative higher education institutions monitored by the Quality Assurance Agency “withdrew” from the sector in the last 10 years, an analysis has shown.
In a 30 March report, the QAA said that of the 462 alternative providers that applied for oversight with the quality assurance body in 2012, just 228 remained by 2019 as many “withdrew from the sector”.
