Report shows many students would make different decisions with more advice in school
A fifth of students accidentally bar themselves from taking their first-choice subject at university because they did not take the right subjects at school, research from Ucas has suggested.
A report from admissions body Ucas published 24 March revealed that one in five students said they could not take the higher education course they wanted to because they did not have the necessary subjects at A-level.
