British and European universities have set out joint guidance advising institutions across the European Union what to do in preparation for a no-deal Brexit.
Brexit: How universities can prepare for a no-deal scenario was published by the European University Association and UK vice-chancellors’ group Universities UK’s international arm, known as UUK International, on 18 February.
The guide advises institutions to compile an overview of staff and students likely to be affected by no deal, identify which collaborative research projects include a UK partner or coordinator, and assess any data-sharing arrangements that are in place between UK-based institutions and those elsewhere in Europe.
