Two pilots will be undertaken for a subject-level teaching excellence framework.
The next iteration of the teaching excellence framework will include subject-level information, Jo Johnson, the universities and science minister, said on 20 July.
A subject-level metric can provide “even better information to students, and be an even more powerful driver of quality and value,” Johnson said.
