The Queen’s speech is the main story in many of today’s papers. The BBC reports that prime minister Theresa May has promised to work “with humility and resolve” to implement the legislation that will be announced by the monarch. The Financial Times says that the prime minister lacks a formal guarantee that she will be able to pass the programme set out by the Queen and The Times reports that the Democratic Unionist Party is threatening to walk out of talks.
