The latest QS rankings reveal both the appeal and cost of studying in the UK.

Yesterday, the rankings agency QS published a list of the best cities in the world for studying abroad. In good news for the UK’s recruiters of international students, London tops the list. The next highest cities in the UK are Edinburgh, ranked 16th, and Manchester, which comes in at 24th. Australia has four cities in the top 25.

Playbook is happy to attest to the attractions of our capital city, which are not really in doubt. However, the QS ranking is based on its annual survey of 50,000 international students and is aimed at those thinking about studying abroad. When it comes to home students, the costs associated with studying in London are becoming increasingly problematic.
