Vote Brexit!

Students dislike Brexit. But not enough to stop them from voting for a Brexit-supporting party, it turns out.

A Higher Education Policy Institute poll reveals today that 76 per cent of students wish to remain in the European Union. This will surprise nobody.

The numbers are consistent with previous polling. A survey of 77,000 students by marketing company Dig In, published in November, found 74 per cent to be in favour of a second referendum. Back in the 2016 referendum itself, 75 per cent of voters aged 18 to 24 voted to stay in the EU.
