Leadership training

What do the candidates vying to be leader of the Labour Party think about universities?

As interview processes go, the contest to become the next Labour leader to lose to the Tories is long and drawn out. But the train left the station of parliamentary nominations with five people on board, each with their own experiences of higher education.

Yesterday, it made an abrupt halt for Jess Phillips to get off. She said she was not the person to unite the party as she rummaged in her bag for her off-peak day return.
