Another report on post-16 education calls for more cooperation between higher and further education
The Independent Commission on the College of the Future was unveiled in spring last year with a relatively straightforward task: to find out what the UK needs from its college system and then figure out how the country should go about making that ambition a reality.
The commission—chaired by Ian Diamond, the UK’s national statistician and former vice-chancellor of the University of Aberdeen—published its final UK report last month, as Playbook readers will recall.
