Playbook prepares to discuss the Research Excellence Framework at today’s RP Live event
The great and the good of higher education and research policy are descending on the Royal Society in London today for the inaugural Research Professional Live.
Playbook readers were invited to attend and we look forward to seeing those who took us up on the offer a little later (it’s a full house—sorry to those who didn’t get a place). Among those milling around will be several former universities and science ministers (Jo Johnson, David Willetts and Sam Gyimah); Graeme Reid, co-author of the Smith-Reid report; Research Excellence Framework director Kim Hackett; and shadow higher education minister Emma Hardy.
