Pandemic pandemonium sees exams cancelled, schools closed and universities in limbo
It was inevitable and expected. But that did not make the news that all schools in the UK are to close, with GCSEs and A levels cancelled, any less shocking.
In Scotland, the A-level equivalent highers have not yet been cancelled—although Scottish education minister John Swinney will set out the nation’s position on exams today. Few would bet against a postponement.
