Covid-19 will transform this year’s university admissions system

It has long been recognised that university admissions are in need of an overhaul. Now, they are going to get it.

Education secretary Gavin Williamson is due to give guidance later today on exactly how the government sees the system working for the next academic year in England, after announcing this week that schools would close for most pupils “until further notice”.
