Spring into action

Universities step up to assist with the Covid-19 effort, and ministers publish accommodation guidance

This weekend brought a string of coronavirus-related announcements for universities, and today the Higher Education Policy Institute has published an article by University of Buckingham vice-chancellor Anthony Seldon on how universities will be changed forever by the pandemic and its aftermath.

But let us start the week on a positive note. As the crisis has deepened, higher education institutions across the UK have leapt into action, doing all they can to help with the response, and it is right that we recognise their efforts.
