Is the Turing scheme fit for purpose?
On Friday afternoon, the Department for Education sent out an embargoed press release about the website for the Turing scheme, which was already live. Playbook asked the department what exactly was embargoed about Turing if all the details about the scheme were available on the site.
The website duly came down, although it is back now that the embargo has lapsed. It was an inauspicious start for the UK’s domestic replacement for Erasmus+.
