The shadow universities minister bows out and some campus reopenings provoke criticism
Universities have a new Labour shadow minister this morning after Emma Hardy announced yesterday that she was to stand down from the role in order to commit more time to her constituency workload.
Hardy, a regular Playbook commentator and Research Professional News columnist, is to be replaced by Matt Western, MP for Warwick and Leamington.
