A government team has been set up to advise universities on cybersecurity
Universities are in need of protection. This is a commonly held view among academics and researchers, and it also turns out to be the view of the government.
The issue, though, is that staff in universities tend to think they need to be protected from the government, whereas the government thinks researchers’ work needs to be protected from “hostile activity”.
