News on levelling up, admissions and open access as the free speech bill is published
A week ago today, it was super Thursday because of the swathes of elections taking place across the UK. Today, it is another super Thursday—this time for higher education and research news, with three separate and equally interesting reports and announcements landing this morning.
Coming up later: open access and admissions reform (and the latest on the free speech debate too). We begin, though, with the latest release from the Higher Education Policy Institute, which this morning publishes research on the geographical concentration of research funding.
