Amanda Broderick explains what her priorities will be as chair of London Higher

When Amanda Broderick takes over as chair of London Higher next month, she will need to tread with caution.

In the elected, unpaid role, representing more than 40 higher education institutions in the capital, Broderick, vice-chancellor of the University of East London since 2018, will be dealing not only with the fallout from the pandemic but with a government that does not see London’s needs as a priority.
