The Student Academic Experience Survey lays bare the impact of Covid on student contentment

Under normal circumstances, the Playbook team would be on its way to a central London location to attend one of its highlights of the year: the Higher Education Policy Institute’s annual conference.

Alas, this year’s Hepi conference won’t take place at anywhere as glamorous as the National Gallery or Embankment Place but will instead be beamed into our living rooms via Zoom. Nonetheless, it is a welcome return for an event that was cancelled altogether last year because of the pandemic. We will bring you all the news from there as it comes in throughout the day—and with education secretary Gavin Williamson and Office for Students chief executive Nicola Dandridge speaking, there should be plenty to talk about.
