The NUS has sacked its president following an inquiry into alleged antisemitism
At just after 4.30pm yesterday, the National Union of Students informed the press that its president Shaima Dallali’s contract had been “terminated” following an independent investigation into allegations of antisemitism.
The union has stopped short of publishing full details of the report—which was produced by Rebecca Tuck KC—even though it was understood that details would be released by the end of October. Instead, it has taken until 1 November to not release the report—although the dismissal of Dallali is indicative of what has been concluded.
