Universities face dilemmas when it comes to tackling climate change
The Cop28 climate summit kicks off today in Dubai, with summit president Sultan Al Jaber denying BBC reports that his country is using the meeting to make oil and gas deals.
“Sometimes I am told you need to engage with governments and with oil and gas companies to put pressure and sometimes I’m told you can’t do that,” Al Jaber told a pre-summit press conference after insisting that the allegations were false.
