The results of more than 50 outstanding TEF awards could arrive before Christmas

Playbook readers may recall that the publication of the 2023 Teaching Excellence Framework results in September was somewhat marred by the fact that almost a quarter of the results in question did not see the light of day.

As we reported at the time, some 53 of the 228 institutions assessed for the TEF this year appealed their results, and subsequently their ratings were not published by the Office for Students. That’s 23 per cent of all participating institutions, for those keeping score.
